Human character thumb sheet numero uno!!
An so the concepting begins, here is a sheet of thumbs for the human characters that are pivitol for the game narrative. There is still some way to go for the characters to be fully developed, the one for the little girl is not far off but the one of the lead is still in need of a lot of refinement. The idea behind the thumbs is to just get out of my head what I am looking for in the way proportions and dress style that i will then take into the next stage of colour experimentation before heading into the pre-production art phase of speed paints and character/mood sheets. As a note of interest human character creation based within a real world enviroment (my world is based on a set day in history) whilst great on a refference point of view I find it slightly restricive with the real challenge being proportions and style that will need to be achieved in the next design stage.
